I downloaded three Trembling Bells songs from eMusic ("Velvet Lessons", "End is the Beginning", "Willows") after reading your album description and doing 30-second samples, and I'm enjoying them. Will likely download the rest soon. I'd never heard of them; thanks for the tip!

Nothing specific comes to mind about the rest of this except that I loved Tori's new album, but had also picked it, hands down, as worst album title. You write great year-end pieces, though. I haven't written mine yet; I prefer to wade through other people's year-end lists for tips.

Couldn't agree with you more on Working on a Dream. Magic was, well, magical and arguably the Boss's best overall effort since Tunnel of Love. But every aspect of Working on a Dream--from the songwriting, to the production, to the dang cover--pales in comparison.
